Ribbon is a 3000 seat ice hockey and ice skating rink in Cluj-Napoca (4th year design studio project at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning in the Technical University of Cluj Napoca).
We wanted to have the exterior shape evoke the idea of a dancer's in motion pirouette. Conceptually and function-wise this project would work. Fabrication of that exterior shell would need a lot of work - but we were young.
